version 1.0 mega/draft

This is a working and fluid program. With all the hangouts and notes and perspectives, this is the version we feel addresses as many of your ideas as possible. This is not going to be perfect. Let’s poke at this and find gaps and improve before we turn it into final operating procedures.

clients first. always.

Every part of this program starts with protecting clients and making sure they remain cared for when life changes for an advisor.

a continuity plan is required

Each of us must have a documented continuity plan. Advisors may choose whether Core's economic succession framework is part of that plan, or designate an external plan, but we will have it documented for client care.

Our advisory agreements are between clients and Core Planning, but the human relationships built by each advisor are the primary driver of a practice's economic value. That’s the equity, it’s real, and that revenue stream has value that we respect belongs to the advisor.

Core must be able to care for clients through change, while the value created by an advisor should have a reasonable opportunity to continue benefiting that advisor or their family.

Core's amazing community gives us the ability to be more flexible, including temporary support, thoughtful matching, fractional succession, and different paths for different clients.
