The size of a company says very little about how it feels to be there. Excellent places exist on all spectrums of size and headcount. Growth itself is neither good nor bad, it’s the intention behind it that embeds meaning.

To us, growth is simply a way to grant more opportunity to others. Growth allows us the chance to be more generous, it allows us to do more of what we love and better serve those we care about. But growth should be done responsibly.

Responsible growth happens when we keep asking the right questions:

• does growth create opportunity without costing us integrity?
• does adding a person to the room make the room feel better?
• does growth add weight, or add relief?
• does growth grant us more freedom, or less?
• are we still feeling that sense of togetherness?
• are people better served?
• how’s the energy?

So the big question we keep getting: “how does Core look in 5 years?”
