Can clients pay advisory fees via physical check?
</aside>
The short answer is yes, but we prefer ACH/AdvicePay/custodial fee debit for audit trail and operational consistency.
Physical checks are acceptable as an exception or fallback if the client strongly requests a physical payment over a digital one. Afterall, we’re here to serve the client.
How to:
- Clients may pay advisory fees by physical check when the check is made payable to Core Planning, LLC for payment of an invoiced advisory fee.
- The client must be given a clear invoice with the fee amount, period covered, and payment instructions.
